100% Carbonfiber AGV Sportmodular Tricolore. European version 2.85 lbs Size L

Basically brand new. I took it for a 15 min test drive to see if I wanted to keep it. I'm just not a Modular type of guy. This was shipped from Italy, so it is an ECE 22.05 rated helmet. The ones they sell here in North America are a bit heavier and are DOT Rated. If you need DOT, you should look else ware. $650 shipped..

It fits me good. I just don't like the modular thing. Never had one before and didn't realize it would bother me. Have had Shoei before and L fit me the same.

Don't mean to hijack this thread, but then again I guess it also bumps it...

Photo, how do AGVs not fit you?

An Arai Quantum in medium fits me perfectly. I've always wondered if AGV would be as good, and if AGV sizing would also be medium, or large.

I've got an Arai head as well. The couple of times I've tried on AGVs, I found them too narrow.

Hit a cyclegear or other dealer and try one. I'm intetested to hear your thoughts.

The Bell in my avatar is different than my Quantum, but way better fit than AGV. I don't like Shoeis fit either.

    Thanks for that Photo.

I haven't tried on a Bell in too long to remember, but a buddy likes Shoei. I tried on his.. what, 1100? A few years ago. Wasn't near as comfy as my medium Quantum.

The other thing about AGV is their different models confuse me. I know the Pista is their top end race helmet, tantamount to an Arai Corsair I guess. But beyond that I'm lost.

Need to do that, try one on.
