The rs250 has been sitting under cover in the garden for 2 years. Since moving house there was no room to put it anywhere decent. With a lot of building work being done. So the garage is finished now (we'll has walls and a roof). So first thing in there is the rs250

The fuel tank has the normal bubbling and expanding problem. I left it for 2 weeks empty just so it would shrink back to size for the lugs to fit in. Hopefully the fuel tank Sealer will help with this problem. The caswell sealant is the only sealent recommended for nylon / plastic tanks. It does cost more than other makes but hopefully its worth it.

The Caswell is good stuff if you have to line a tank. It holds up to the E10 gas we have here. Never used it on anything other than old steel tanks, but if they say it's compatible you shouldn't be disappointed.

It's the only option for a nylon tank.. It's alot more expensive than any other make.. But they do say they are the best. So hopefully it's worth it

Oh I did think that afterwards... Thetuningworks.co.uk did the 300 conversion. You need to use original cylinders aprilia or vj22
.. Also colin on the rgv forum does his own but uses modified original heads and cut power valves.

I would be interested to see how this turns out when done. Ethanol sucks.
