It's definitely running rich now. So it will be going back to the rolling road again.

I finally put some carbon bits on I bought ages ago. The rear hugger was from some company on ebay in UK and the dash cover and chain guard was from carbons heart

ooh i like that dash cover. i didn't even know they made it.

Get your confidence back with Aprilia.

caution: the use of motorcycles may be habit forming. side effects include purchasing multiple examples of the same bike, in different states of tune, different years, or different models altogether. some motorcycles may be not running when purchased. some parts are no longer available. there are rare instances where aprilias are bought over the internet and upon arrival, they are not as were originally disclosed. there is a small group of people who cannot handle two stroke engines and motorcycle maintenance. if this is the case, you may not be a candidate for Aprilia RS250's.

Aprilia. Ask your doctor if the RS250 is right for you.

I went the the dyno late evening just to check the jetting. The jetting what I changed to was good so I did not have to change anything.
I'm still using the original zeeltronic ignition and arrow pipes.
I could of advanced the ignition slightly around 7k but it was getting late. So 74bhp well 73.7 and 4 more torque so better than before with the air leak and big jets. 300-310 are my main jets now.
There is still some more engine mods I would like to do better exhaust like tyga or jolly moto and the larger volume Airbox

Beautiful bike. I wish I could just pop over to a rolling road to help tune my bikes. Around here places like that are few and far in between.

Hi james. Iím reading your Ď300í post, and was thinking how many miles did the bike do before 300 conversion? Some of the first pictures shows us the old 250 pistons, they look like they are worn, or at least the rings.

Iím doing a topend rebuild on my RS, it has done 10600km but piston are looking like they have ďblow byĒ cause of worn rings. This is on a completely stock engine. Is this normal with only 10-11000km?

3800 miles was the millage of the bike. But i think it had had pistons changed before mabe just buy some of the nuts and bolts was not the original ones. And I had no other history of the bike. So could of even been used as a track bike
