    yes it is very easy with a centre stand, no strain on the spring so lifts straight in and out. siezed bearings and bolts are however common. lots of heat and heavy with the hammer!

    otherwise, just balance it it on the side stand!

    A week and a half after crashing into a snow drift and bending my (yes I know- incredibly long) toes back much further than they really ought to go.

    Ha ha! Just a bent rear brake pedal, amazing how the beak can bend and spring back to about the right position too. One of these days the rear brake pedal will snap because it has been re-positioned so many times but it keeps on going. Next big trip might see me get a spare!

    Today I've changed the oil and filter . Fitted new chain roller as the standard was well not there.
    Just need to fit front brake line and change the coolant .

    Fitted new caliper off a very low mileage triumph speed triple 30 posted off eBay . Bargain . Had my son helping (ish) me .

    No photos but....

    I took the front brakes off the wheel, took the pads out and gave everything a damn good scrubbing (not the pads), especially the pods..
