Bike looks great! I’ll be picking up a 17’ RF next week myself and begin the race bike transformation. I’ll be curious to hear how the Starlane GPS works as that will be something I want.

I’m gonna do the same approach with stickers, what’s the wet method and how do you do it?

Squeezy bottle with soapy water spray on fairing then offer the decal up and because its wet you can still move it about if not placed perfectly. Then use a plastic scraper to remove the excess water from behind the sticker. On tricky surfaces edges etc a heat gun or hair dryer is really useful to mould the decal into shape

Flobrandx, regading the starlane gps, it worked well. The times logged corresponded with the mylaps transponder, so accuracy is good. It did seem to take 2 flying laps sometimes to start timing. Only had to teach it start finish line once for the 3 days on track. The only issues with it were when i switched my rain light on which I've wired into the headlight main beam switch it stopped the laptiming completely. Also the plug connects under the rear seat and the wiring is no where near long enough to mount the gps on top of the air tubes where i wanted it. So i soldered an extension piece in which sorted the issue. Aparently another option is the pz racing unit but I've no experience of this.

Thanks pjm! So if I understand this correctly, once it’s in place you squeegee the excess water out and then it dries in place. Sounds simple enough.

Sounds like a good option then. Can I ask what the cost was?

    pjm nice setup clean!
I was thinking about how to attach the carbon covers also instead of just silicone right to the swing arm.
I'am planning on taking clear 3M sticker and wrapping portions of the swingarm and then using silicone to to attach carbon cover to sticker.
