Oh man, thanks! So many of my riding co-horts have new bikes and don't understand why I haven't moved on. This one still thrills me with both it's looks and it's performance!
The "V" ......the all so powerful "V".

What type of maintenance do you see on bikes going that far? Wheel bearing replacement? Any other moving parts of note?

    Mine's a baby at 117,000 klm (72,000 miles).
Other than wheel bearings I have replaced the swing arm, dogbone, and steering head bearings.
All had been inspected regularly and greased where possible but after 100,000klm I decided to replace them anyway.

Some lyrics of mine seem to fit this thread.

Probably the wrong thread but mine has clocked around 20K kilometres, and I am the second owner and have put 8000 of them on in the last year and a bit.

    Just saw this.
Lots of tires, oil (I replace the filter @ every oil change cheap insurance) and a new chain with sprockets just about year.
At around 65,000 miles I had problems with the wire harness @ the ECU some wires broke, replaced and keep a spare on hand.
All bearings replaced at around 100,000 miles.
Had to replace the engine @ 93,000 miles (output shaft bearing failure, my fault)
I switched to OZ rims around 100,000 miles.
My 2000.5 RSV was finally killed by a Toyota Corolla March 30, 2018 with over 215,000 miles.
I picked up a 2003 Touno that had 36,000 miles on the clock in late April 2018, Now over 58,000 miles,
40,000 mile 2004 Tuono motor stored in the garage (was originally a spare for the RSV)

215,000 miles, wow that's some going, did you replace any internals in that time?

No, just the motor @ 93,000. The Rotax mill is amazing.

The motor I installed had over 12,000 miles on it so it had around 127,000 miles when retired. Still running strong.

A mate has a Gen 1 Tuono with 140,000k of absolute mechanical torture on it. Just regular services, no major failures.
