The Isle of Man TT lap record for an electric bike is 18:58.743, an average speed of 119.279mph.

I'd love to ride a vintage MV GP bike, or a Laverda V6.

my own guilty pleasure bike? Other than the (1) owner 2001 Aprilia RSVR in yellow that I have owned for these last 16 years. Last fall, still managed to make me laugh, scare me with it's abilities, and impress some local lads all within the same ride!

The other was my friend's RC30 that I rode when I could get to Holland. Downshifting to make a roundabout, realized the bike wouldn't shift anymore because the bike was Already in first gear, but I was only going 55; nothing at all for the ultralight flywheel and extremely capable racebike.

I actually own my guilty pleasure bike—a Motus MSTR. The “guilty” part comes from how much I spent on the damned thing; even used they’re expensive. It’s a nice bike, but the second time I rode it the carbon rear hugger started to destroy itself. I emailed Motus...apparently a known problem stemming from a too-soft rear spring allowing the hugger to contact the tire. I don’t mind being a beta tester and all, and I salute the folks at Motus for having the stones to build a bike from scratch, but it’s been about three months now that the bike’s been parked, waiting on a replacement spring and hugger. I’ve ridden the damned thing twice. I guess the moral is that some dreams should remain just that.

I might be missing something here but a guilty pleasure bike is something you would like to ride but wouldn't like anyone to know you enjoyed riding it, isn't it? Most of the bikes listed here, Laverda V6, MV race bike, Magni, Benelli Tre, RC30, Benelli TNT, I wouldn't be embarrassed to be seen on any of those. In fact I'd be happy as a pig in shit. That Hesketh though .
    FUCK THE MAGS

Never live the same day twice. (My wife nearly pissed her self laughing when she read my signature line, because she reckons she has never met anyone in the whole of her life who hates change more than me) She does have a point .
