    Winter spruce up

Tuono Gen 1, mostly there but just needs finishing off.
Apart from checking the usually annual stuff like swing arm and dog bone bearings and re grease,
I've had the wheels painted in satin black, c/w new bearings and 90 inflation valves.

Exhaust ceramic coated satin black. The rear header will also get a DEI wrap.

Re sprayed the fork lowers; rubbed them down to find a thin top coat only courtesy of Showa.
Now under coated, painted and lacquered. Since the photo I've also fitted some aircraft leading edge
clear tape to the front of the lowers to hopefully prevent any more chipping.

That looks really nice, I really need to give my bike a solid stripdown and thorough cleaning! Curious to see how your bike looks with the nice black wheels and exhaust.

That stuff on the read header will make it rust. Sure you want to keep it on ??

I have never really noticed the heat from it. The rear shock dosnt seem to suffer performance issues either.

Won't rust with the ceramic coating on it; I've already run the rear header since last winter with the DEI wrap and when it came off for coating, the header was clean.
As for the rear shock, I've got an Ohlins fitted and I run on the Yorkshire Dales back lanes mostly...the shock gets a good work out! Why add to the grief it gets when you can
    help it out.

I've already fitted K&N, large air intake boot, removed intake grilles, modded collector (as per photo), straight thro' Giannelli can and FR200 chip.
It's more than fast enough for me and acceleration with 15/43 is decent

I had HID`s on my old Falco. I just could not get use to the time it takes for them to turn on going from high to low, low to high.

I guess if you just use HID for low, and it is wired so it`s on all the time, it would be ok.

I would like to go LED high beam. Would be interested in which brand you get. These guys do a good product. http://www.cyclopsadventuresports.co...ulb-_p_83.html
