Since the Factory uses plenty of blue Loctite on that bolt, it is best to remove it while the engine is hot (helps soften the Loctite).
As mentioned previously, use a hand wrench to remove and if it feels too tight, preheat with a propane torch.

Now that it is broken, you need to start drilling exactly on center using a brand new drill bit.
Start by using a transfer punch to get a perfectly centered starting point for the drill bit (I like to start with a 1/8" bit and go slowly).

Link for a transfer punch set: https://www.amazon.com/Transfer-Punc...a-570018121897

Now that you have a perfectly centered pilot hole, drill the correct sized hole for the appropriate sized extractor.
Heat the output shaft just enough to loosen the Loctite and remove the broken bolt.

Not sure what you mean by "Taken from RSVR.net perhaps these are Mille settings and it’s for one of the usual huge bus that sit on the spline....? "

Torque for the old Mille engine is also 50 N/m

Just curious - what is the torque value for that particular bolt? I noticed that the stock Aprilia bolts appear to be pretty soft so seems like a bad idea to use that grade on the CS sprocket... no?
Aprilia bolts seem soft?Try an aluminium or stainless steel bolt

Aluminum bolt? Not a good idea on a critical part. Steel only.

That’s kinda what I was saying.
I bought pro bolt aluminium fairing bolts.Which are low stressed and I would never use these again, even on fairings, mudguards(fenders ahem) nowhere.
