Stripped down for a good clean, wheels away to be painted, exhaust away to be ceramic coated satin black, front cam cover gasket to replace, swing arm and dog bone off for bearing check / re grease.

Put it back together after replacing front cam cover gasket, fast Idle assy. and cable, cleaned and re-oiled BMC airfilter, fixed a host of niggly age related bits and pieces that had perished, replaced a split coolant header tank, cleaned up the throttle body, replaced the odd 4mm allen head dome bolt, particularly this one which the PO had snapped an allen key off in inside the airbox, changed the oil and filter, adjusted the new chain, raised the forks in the triples.

All right it's been off the road for a week and a bit waiting on parts, but was fun to get it back together yesterday and today, then out for a road test ride around the block which became a 1/2 hour ride, nothing came loose which is always a good thing and no more oil leaks.

Not to shabby inside for an engine that's covered just under 64K and one would say hard Km's with the 2 PO's.

Found voltmeter amazon . They are dirt cheap . They have 4 colors . And they are potted . There are also round ones that you just drill a hole and it pops in . Just look around not hard to find .

Where do you plan to connect it? To the relay?

    EDIT
    1. Bought the voltmeter (yesterday) - to be installed
    2. Ducati 1098 rear brake pump installed (last week)
    3. New rear tire (Metzeler Z8) - hope it's better than Dunlop Qualifier which is IMO sh*t

Snow outside so I remove all fairings to give them good clean. I found massive oil leak from cylinder head cover. I saw it before but it was small. I need a new gasket... Mayby somebody check the valves before and that`s why it leak from there.

They often leak from there. New gasket should fix it.
