New Race Class for Aprilia RSV1000 Mille for Next Year!

Just wanted to let everyone know, new for next year, is the Next Gen 2 class. It was approved by the AHRMA board and rules are being finalized now. I'm just trying to get the word out so we can get some bikes out there for this class. Bike list is as follows for Next Gen 2.

    Approved Motorcycles

Aprilia RSV Mille 1st Gen only, including Mille SP, Mille R and replicas. Specifically Haga and Edwards.

All Ducati motorcycles must use Desmoquattro engines only, no Testastretta engines, heads or components.

    Ducati 851, 888; Ducati 748, 748R, 748RS with big bore; Ducati 916, 916SP, 916 Corsa and 916R; Ducati 996, 996S, 996SPS, 996RS.

    Kawasaki ZX7, ZX7R, ZX7RR models included are J, K, L, M, N and P1-P7.

    Suzuki GSXR 750 N thru X (Srad), TL1000R

    Honda RC30, RC45, RC51 SP1

    Yamaha YZF750R and YZF750SP

    Yamaha R7

Please spread the word! I'm sure there are lots of bikes that can be brought out for this new class. I have seen a bunch of these out there very cheap! Lets build some bikes and have some fun!

Did I read that wrong? New for next year (meaning 2018) is the Next Gen 2 class. The post goes on to list the RSV Mille 1st Gen, etc etc. No mention about the Gen 2.
So what is the new rule? Gen 2 or no Gen 2 ?

Here on the WERA rules pertaining to the RSV and Tuono.
C SUPERSTOCK EXPERT & NOVICE and C SUPERBIKE EXPERT & NOVICE
    Up to 650cc 4-stroke multis
    Up to 675cc 4-stroke triples
    Up to 1200cc 4-stroke air-cooled twins
    Up to 850cc 4-stroke water-cooled twins
    Up to 550cc 2-stroke multis
    Unlimited singles
    Vintage 5 machines
*Aprilia Tuono up to 2010, KTM SuperDuke 990, Honda VTR1000F and Suzuki V1000 are allowed in C Superstock and Superbike in Superstock trim only for both classes slicks are allowed in Superbike.
Vintage 8 rules apply to the 2004 to 2009 GEN 2 bikes. Which state that they must meet C superbike rules as shown above.
    Vintage 8 Mediumweight
Machines based on C Superbike rules that are 12 years old or older based on the current season year as well as the exact same model of a newer year but unchanged in every way other than graphics.
WERA needs to change the rules within the C class to allow both the Tuono and RSVR. IMHO

My buddy is trying to convince me to dive into the AHRMA racing licensing class at NJMP on the 13th, then race that weekend with my Gen II. Only class I can tell it qualifies for is Sound of Thunder 1, which is unlimited cc twins and triples. Assuming that means something like 1299's or 1290's could be going to be up on the grid?

I would love to race against similar year/generation HP bikes... like if the above class allowed the Gen II. But per the handbook next gen super bike 2 is restricted to the Mille gen only.

ID:	363918Great memories from this class, but no racing is cheap, if you need new disks they are the same price as current model bike, all consumables are almost the same price as a newer bike, the difference is’if You stack it you can get another for a few K€. Click image for larger version.
