Cool GPR Camp: The Website--Cool things are coming...

I had to move the GPR Camp site to a new server this month. With the help of my good friend JM we've now got HTTPS working, and I'm adding a small foro to it. It will be a very specific foro for Replica bikes including a tutorial section.

The Place to Replica with your Friends

We wanted a place to celebrate and enjoy our small displacement two stroke Replica Racers. Bikes like the Derbi GPR, and the Aprilia RS50. This desired spawned the GPR Camp event, the Foro, and our growing community of riders.

Twenty Eighteen marks our third year for GPR Camp, and we are totally excited. We've moved the dates one week later. We've taken on the larger area at the Alice Eastwood site—enabling us to accommodate even more Replica Riders. If you are a Replica enthusiast this is the event for you. If you don't yet have a bike contact us—we'll help you find one. If you need help with your bike check out our Foro for a community of deep knowledge.

Camp sites are limited so reserve yours now!!

    When
    June 11th-14th 2018

    Where
    San Francisco (technically Marin)

    Who
    Replica Riders, and similar bikes

Check out our website for fun.
Check out our Foro to learn about the bikes, and engage with our community.
Check out our FAQ for more information.
Check out our Marketplace if you need a bike.
Check out the official GPR Camp 3 thread on the GPR Camp Foro.

    Nice !!
Looking forward to more GPR Camp stuff !

Hopefully, the recent fires haven't impacted the headlands too much ? I saw Santa Rosa was hit pretty hard, I lived and worked there (with O'Reilly) for several years

Thanks. I just posted up more ride info. One from last week's ride and another from this weeks coming ride.

One of my good buddies' place is currently surrounded by fires. We are texting back and forth about how to evacuate his bikes. He says it's really difficult to breath. The skies around here are full of smoke--all the way down to San Jose and Santa Cruz!

The fires are still raging on, and I don't think they are anywhere close to containing the fires. Mostly they are evacuating, and letting it burn. They just don't have the means to fight it.

Another friend had a cabin up there on a ranch near the lake. It was completely burned down. When you look at the photos it's complete devastation. It's really heart breaking. The winds were so strong that the fire was able to jump across the 101 freeway. So many homes were lost. I don't know how the people are going to recover from this tragedy.

Much the same situation we had a month or so ago near Seattle. We had smoke in the air in Seattle for days due to wildfires in the Cascade mountains, and near Portland.
    What a nightmare.
Hope you guys can get the bikes, and STAY SAFE !

Yeah I hope it's over soon. It's been raging for over a week. So many people are losing their homes, and the Bay Area is already beyond capacity. These people wont have anywhere to go.

    GPR Camp Gets a Foro!!

We’ve been rather busy recently adding a forum to the GPR Camp website.

Inside you’ll find a feature rich modern, and engaging format in which to interact with your fellow Replica riders. It’s clean, easy to read, neatly organized, has built in translation, and it’s Responsive, which means that it will work on your touch devices too. We intend this to be the premier English based forum for our Replica Racers. For that we’ll need your help getting the word out.

Now we still have a lot of work to accomplish, but we are sure that you’ll find there’s already enough to get you started, and to support our community. Please take a look, register, and enjoy exploring the latest addition to GPR Camp.

    Check it out!
