    Panigale Final Edition

No word on pricing yet but my guess is...expensive.

Interestingly it is Euro 4 compliant given the dual exhaust. So they can sell as many as they want everywhere.

BTW, we need a nickname for those incredibly ugly exhaust pipes. Drain trap exhaust? Sousaphone exhaust?

Exhaust resembles the Britten. So looks good imho.
Terribly loud in WSBK build though

I love the color scheme, but can't say I'm that fond of the exhaust layout. I know lots pf people are excited because it mimics the WSB exhaust, but that's in looks only, the Cat is down where the prior 1199/1299 has the exhaust.

Out of my budget so I'll stick with my 1299S

How about wheelbarrow exhaust, because take the back wheel off the bike off and use those pipes as handles of the wheelbarrow.

But if that is what they have to do t be Euro4, so be it.

One strange thing about this bike is that it is Euro4 compliant, meaning they can sell it (or more importantly a standard 1299 or 1299S using this engine/exhaust) basically anywhere. No restrictions on the numbers.

With this being the Final Edition, does this mean the 2018 1299FE will be the only big twin Panigale next year? So 2017 is it for the 1299 as we know it except for this bike?

If that is the case, then this November is more interesting. The V4 is coming, initially it was assumed to be the R version in the first year (2018 MY), and the strada and S the following year (2019 MY). But Ducati have also said they will race the twin in 2018 and not the V4.

So does this mean in November we will actually get the street version first for 2018 MY to replace the 1299? And then next November in 2018 the R version will drop and be used for their 2019 WSBK campaign?
