    Replacement seals for panniers/luggage?

I'm gearing up for a trip, and I found that the seals in one of my panniers have dry-rotted. Has anyone replaced these? I didn't use the bags much, but the stock seals were always water tight when I did get caught in the rain.

It seems that Moto Guzzi is using the same design for one of their current bikes (Breva). Any luck sourcing replacement seals for those? Oh, bonus question -- do the Breva bags use the same rubber tabs to attach to the license plate assembly? Mine have also dry-rotted.

Indeed, these seals should be the same as on the Caponord, but the bags on the GT8V Norge should be identical, those bags are so close to the Futura's design.

Are the Norge 8V panniers different from the Norge 4V?

Not sure, they had one of the GT8Vs at Elk Grove Power Sports, had a chance to tinker with the saddlebags on this one up close and personal. A few things I noted about the Guzzi bags: They have the same internally bolted mounting plates up top, the interior seal arrangement looks just about identical, there's a unique latch added at the rear of the bag, and the main motorcycle key (big one) operates the saddlebag, unlike the Futuras miniature key.

The Guzzi sure felt smaller sitting on it, more cramped than the aprilia.

The OEM gaskets / seals are still available to order new. The kit will even do both panniers.

Do you check a partnumber of a seals for a Caponord 1200 panniers?
Hope, it's outer parts is the same as Futura's panniers.

English is not my native language, so please be kind to my mistakes.

Remember, this is an Italian bike with an Austrian motor, it isn't like the GSXR you use to own...

    Welcome to the forum!

Well, both bikes has same panniers (100% interchangeable), so part number should be the same, I presume...

No, it's not the 100% same. Only a visual.
Futura panniers could be fitted to a new Capo, but the opposite is impossible. Only a outside parts could be identical.

One fellow have bought a Capo 1200 panniers and couldn't fit it into Futura.

Well, curious to know a person in Moscow, having Futura and panniers from Capo 1200 at the same time. Any pictures, please?
Having both bikes at the same time I didn't find any difference in panniers beside colour.

You are right, I'm talking about the old Capo panniers, which have a different panniers mounting.
