    Tune aprilia sr50 R

Hello guys. A couple of day ago I got my brand new Aprilia SR50 R 2017, and I want it to go faster. How can I do that? I don't want to spend any more money on things like new exhaust and such but I could buy new weights (please explain what the weights do) how do I unplug it? How much do I need to drive before unplugging it? Is it true that I destroy the scooter if I remove the variator ring without changing the compiter
of the scooter (cdi)??? Where are these plugs located? Are they hard to remove? Please be very detailed since I don't know much in how to do this. Tell me what to do so it goes faster without any new exhaust etc. And be very detailed and explain what your idea is because I don't know much!! Thank you!

Take off the variator ring. For that you need a variator tool like buzzetti.

If you only do that, no need for rejetting your carb. You do not benefit from the brass ring removing from the carb so dont bother.

You can do that when you decide to upgrade your exhaust. Do not chop the oem pipe. Its expensive.

You do not need an impact wrench if you buy the tool. Its something that everyone scooter related person should have.

Use quality 2 stroke oil like castrol power 1 scooter.

Take it easy for the first 500 km. You can remove the variator ring before this. It stresses the motor when its on becouse the rpm rises but nothing hapens speedo vise.

SR 50 R doesnt have a restricted ecu so do not touch it.

Taking out the variator ring doesnt affect your acceleration but the top speed is much better. Long straight road about 78-80km/h.

Always warm the motor up to the first bar in the indicator before you give it full throttle.

To the contrary, it will stress your engine less if you remove it, as you will need less rpm to reach a higher speed. Now, read the link that '2Strokesforlife' posted for instructions on how to do it.
