    Aux power port?

So my Caponord rally should be at the dealers, by the end of next week. My question is this:

The 2016 i test rode, did not have a 12 volt aux port at the cockpit area The only one i know about is the usb under the seat. Is that the case? I just read an online review, and it stated that it did have an aux port for GPS etc. I am confused, i have purchased one in case. But it would be a lot neater to have a factory installed aux port. Even my POS Ducati Multi has one

There is a power cable with a connector that suits the Tom Tom gps under the dash that they were probably referring to. Some people are just refitting different connector to suit their gps units.

    Correct.

To clarify, inexplicably the Caponord is not fitted with a 12V aux port. The 5V USB is a good idea but not very useful under the pillion seat!

Just don't get me started on all the little details Aprilia should have sorted by now.

There two aux 12V outlets on the Capo. There is the Tomtom outlet underneath the panel behind the windshield. It's hidden in bundle of wires.
The other 12V outlet in in the white connecter just in front of the battery. This 9 pin connecter has 12V on all the time, 12V only with ignition ON, and a 5V position. Use a dvm to locate your choice of voltage and some ingenuity to tap into it.

Here's where I put my 12v power. Out of the way, yet convenient and it looks clean. Click image for larger version.

I was searching the forum for this very thread. I know it's been dead for a bit, but agree with Falcoholic, we need more photos. I am trying to find the best place to mount an auxiliary port, hopefully close to ignition or risers.

Instead of ingenuity, can anybody identify/source the mating 9 pin connector?

Are you guys satisfied with the power output from the USB port under the seat? I ran a cable from it, under the seat and tank to power my Android phone. WIth my GPS on it doesn't really charge, it just slows down the discharge rate. Bad quality cable perhaps? Or 5V just not enough for a phone with GPS (not even using Bluetooth, just GPS)
