    So how was the hoon?

Unbroken sunshine? Warm dry roads? Decent beer on the evening?

Some people will tell you that slow is good Ė but Iím here to tell you that fast is better. Iíve always believed this, in spite of the trouble itís caused me. Being shot out of a cannon will always be better than being squeezed out of a tube. That is why God made fast motorcycles, Bubba.

    The Hoon was bloody epic.

Started off with a track day at Cadwell Park followed by a full tour of the Yorkshire Dales and the Peak District. I think. The Sun was shining, the roads were clear, scenery fantastic.

Even the evening beers were lovely.

First nights accommodation near Caldwell was a bit suspect to say the least but after that it was all at the good Doctors so nice and plush.

BatFastard turned up for Cadwell and after that it was just Dr Jon and myself so even the company was excellent.

Pissed it down the whole way home down the M1 but other than that a fine trip

I'm pleased you had a good time, other than the ride home.. I'm seriously pissed that I didn't check the dates and booked my French trip for the wrong weekend.. however, my trip was ace and we came back as fiance/fiancee after I proposed and she, Christine accepted..

Bike will soon be in her garage with gives me much better access and she's very keen to ride pillion and for me to get out and about on some hoons..

    cheers all..
