But after all it is the leaders of a country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy or fascist dictaatorship, or a parliament or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the peace makers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country. H. Goring

Yea that was fun especially because I’ve never been to many of those places. I’m always down for a ride

Glad it went well! Back in about 2004-2007 apes almost filled that parking lot.

Ride to Santa Ysabel and Palomar Mt.

    Hey all,

Buddy purchased a 2016 Tuono, so he and I went for a ride last weekend. Most of my riding has been on the slab (highway), so this was a good experience for me:

Sounded fun!!! Hope to meet up at Palomar some day... What I'd like to know is what's new? What's the condition of the road's West and East side; new paving's or real bad? I heard something about Speed limit signs..? I'm curious as my memories are of the early 1990's and mid 2000's... Last time I rode up the mountain with friends was around 2004-06 can't pinpoint the year, anyway. I'm in Chula Vista... Anyone near me..?

@Brazimoto, we rode up the east (less technical) side and the posted speed limit is 40 mph, the road could use some resurfacing as it's beginning to show it's age and is patrolled by CHP ( a week after we rode up, my buddy was pulled over for doing 50 in a 40 and also "warned" about his loud pipe).
