I am gunna put it out there and say that mm will win two more titles with Honda to equal the hated ones record. Then jump ship to another bike. I’m gunna say Suzuki or Ducati. Yuall heard it here first.

Great job Gabro! I really like this tread, thanks you have adviced it me on FB!

I am set to go into moded collector. Currently I have a gen1 tuono with standard airbox/filter, standard collector + open Arrow can with Arrow chip. It works pretty well, but I dont really like the dip in midrange, as I use lower and mid revs the most.

One question, a lot of times I read about intake snorkel from early RSV airbox, did you or anyone else checked or dynoed the difference? I am actually waiting for one to be dellivered, I just would like to know, what difference it could bring.

i've never tested back to back the '98-'00 snorkel VS the 2001+ one, but i wouldn't expect a big difference in horsepower.

Thanks. I do not expect any gain, maybe just some difference in some part of revs.
    If it will be remarkable.

My 2000.5 Mille needs some help. This may be just the thing. I have an Arrow 2 into 2 shotgun full system, Evoluzione airbox, 51mm tb's with factory pro chip and velocity stacks. Bike is feeling pretty down on power. I'd sure like to try a Gabro chip!!!

Turns out I do have 54's. I guess I just need a Gabro chip. How do I get one?

When you measured, did you measure the throttle body or the velocity stack?
The reason being 54mm short stacks were being mounted on 51's, as aftermarket short stacks generally only came in 54mm.
Ken Zeller for one didn't make a 51mm stack, as the 54mm still worked ok on the 51's at the very top of the power band.

Yes you are right. You cannot feel big difference, maybe better reaction but the biggest difference is the glorious intake roar

build off a 54 TB's costs much more than buying an used 57's off a Gen2 bike. That's why i've stopped doing those, there's not really a market for 54's competing with cheap 57's (even if 54's works way better)
