Is this the 2015 Factory or the new 2016 RF? It's not clear when they say RSV4 1000.

    Euro 2015 = USA 2016

Ape's a bit off but, still decent finishes. Great run for PJ in ss 2nd. LS almost won stock1000/2nd. Wicked crash for Tom.

Some pretty good dives up the inside going into the new corner

Well done to Chaz for the win in race two.
And the first win for the crapigale. Ducati's last win was 58 races ago 2012

Nasty highside and slow start by Tom. Grats to Chaz!

Great ride by PJ, he'd be higher up if he had a better bike in PI at race 1.

The R1M looked good in SSTK and theres a bunch in USA racing. Could fair well for Melandri.

If the Honda of Guintoli is that bad comparing to the RSV4, youngster vd Mark could be champion last year. Outperforming his team mate yet again.
For sure Guintoli is going to have a rough season with the Blade or Honda has to introduce a new weapon asap.

Feels like a great time to low ball the local MV dealer for one of those F3800's....

So is Sykes the new Toni Elias? I keep hearing how he's struggling to come to grips with the new regulations but Rea seems to be getting along with them just fine. I guess it's one of this situations where everything has to be perfect for him to have success? I'm not saying he's doing bad, but it's a bit more difficult when you're not the only decent rider on the best bike. Ducati have caught up a little bit, Haslam has always been good and is finally showing it on a good bike, and Rea can finally show his depth on the best bike.

From watching him over the years Tom has always had a very aggressive, hard on the brakes, hard on the throttle, point & squirt riding style and he seems to rely on the electronics a lot to keep it going forward....that certainly worked for him the last few years on the Kawasaki but the 'dumbed down' version they've switched to now doesn't seem to suit him so well.

On the other hand JR is super smooth and carries lots of momentum + he's spent years on a shit-heap of a bike so the Kawasaki probably seems like nirvana to him having never ridden the previous incarnation thatr Tom is reflecting back on.

I think Tom will still be thereabouts as he's so consistent, generally near the front and rarely crashes........

Same with Haslam, he says that the Electronics of the Aprilia make the biggest difference compared to the previous bikes he has ridden
