Added a OEM Top Case. Yes, it's the wrong color but it was 1/2 price brand new. Not sure paying double for the Red would be worth it. Easy enough install but I was left with a pile of extra install parts. Not sure if this is normal.......

    Prefer big twins these days.
    Just my personal preference.

    How did your ride go?
I see what you're saying about the engine... I've only ever had twins for our 2up road bikes and the smooth linear feel of the I4 is an odd feeling. I didn't "get on it" or anything during the test ride, but the quietness of the package makes for a very mellow feeling ride. The windscreen seemed to work nicely to deflect the wind up and over our heads. With that big hole in the bottom, it should!!
I would probably toss on an aftermarket slip-on (if purchased) to give it a bit of bark and maybe a tad more snap.
We ride 2up almost exclusively, so the mellow feel isn't a bad thing for us. We'll jump on the ole Futura or the Breva 1100 for some twin action if needed...lol.
I liked the dash for sure. That TFT(?) screen is awesome. *The cruise control was perfect.

Sounds like you're talking yourself into buying one. they are certainly a very popular model, along with the 1000SX.
    Whatever you decide, best wishes

ID:	381402 well that's the trip finished. After the NC500 I went south from Nairn to pick up the Highland tourist trail past all.of the Speyside whisky distilleries. Through the Cairngorms, Braemar Perth to Edinburgh. Then down past Jedburgh to Newcastle and then A1 home.

It's a great place to ride a bike. I love the bit around by Cape Wrath at the North west corner, it's like no where else in the UK, stunning.

unfortunately the north west corner was when the weather turned nasty and there was no visibility AT ALL.

Bugger, I've got my 'wet weather badge' for Scotland and boy can it rain up there ! It's a shame but when it's sunny up there... Probably going up there early July if I can find some time.

I'm heading up there next month, I want to tick Ben Nevis off my bucket list. I'm not sure they will let me ride the Tuono up tho!
