SXV550 random battery drop and no start

Hi guys. Looking for some help.

Just got an sxv. Heard about all the issues with them and the high maintenance. But even reading all that I just needed to get one.

I have already had a few issues with starting. So replaced the following:

Battery - didn't need to, so kept the old.
Replaced both Leads from battery through to starter 16mm copper
Starter Relay not sure if I needed to so kept old.
Start motor - was a cheap Chinese one. So replaced with genuine aprilia one.

I replaced one at a time and found that it was actually the starter motor, which was probably the most obvious. But the whole system is new.

Anyway after a few days I have started having more issues.

The bike starts fine cold and will once warm. I'll take it out for a ride. And if I have been out and turned the machine off. Even after 15mins. The bike struggles to start. As though the battery is flat. I hook the battery up to a charger and it's on max. Volt checked it and it's fine. Put it back on the bike and hey ho starts straight back up.

So to test another theory. I took it out again. Ran the bike another 15mins and the bike was struggling to start again. So quickly disconnected and reconnected the battery and it fires up.

Not sure if it's a heat related issue? Not 100% sure what is going on.

    Any assistance would be great.

Ensure the “M” terminal on the starter relay is connected to the starter motor and the “B” terminal is connected to the battery. Get them backwards and the starter runs constantly while the engine is running and overheats it as well as charging issues.
