Sorry to bring up an old thread but where is the starter relay located at? I just changed my regulator/rectifier after taking a dump on me. Now my dash lights flicker when I turn the key in the on position and I get the APMT 0025 along with the P Code 006. I'm guessing it's most likely my battery even though it shows 12.6v with a multi-meter but drops down to 8v after I turn the key in the on position. I heard the fuel pump prime but it didn't give that "whirrrr" noise like it used to. No clicking or cranking when I attempted to start it.

I want to be able to test the relay after I get a new battery.

Starter solenoid is on right side beneath the rear plastic fairing behind the seat. Basically under your right butt cheek when sitting on bike.

My Tuono always started hard. With the 1102 motor, real hard. New batt, still hard. And the rear brake sucked to the point that I won't talk about it. I shipped it to MI so my brother and nephew could ride it. So my brother, who owns a performance shop for snowmobiles, drag bikes and shit, put a caliper and mAster cylinder from an old GSXR (he's a Suzuki guy) and a goddam solenoid from a DR650 (I think). I spend a shot ton of time and money on that damn brake. Thing starts and stops now. I guess.
    Bikes:
    2007.5 Tuono-Black, with 1102cc's of micah's badness!
2012 Griso-Silver and black, Agostini pipe, some carbon bits.
2006 Vespa GT200-bitubo suspension all around, Malossi big-bore, head and cam, Akrapovic pipe, all put together by Micah.

gone 2002 Caponord-Oyster gray (as faithful as a hound dog)
gone Futura-Red (on the AF1 showroom floor. Get some.)

The more I learn about people, the more I appreciate rocks.

    Hahahaaa..I love this.
Just gotta think outside the box, away from the Aprilia mindset.
Would have loved those mags on your bike Jack.

Heavy duty battery and starter cables work a treat as well.
