Well between us we certainly have a great collection....my favourite has to be Geoff's dirty Jota ...i almost purchased one back in 1981....but ended up buying a Kawasaki Z1000 instead & that as they say is history ...as i then was hooked on big Kawasaki's moving onto a Gpz 1100 A3 uni-track followed by my first ZZ-R 1100 C1...

That Dr Big is so cool TC,

I also prefer the smaller screen and original pipe on the T (it deserves to be kept authentic as its such a rarity), the lower screen can give a lot of wind resistance at higher speeds, and the pipe isn't road legal (and its louder) and don't want to give insurers any excuses, although I did grind out the "for Race use only" with a super high polish up but it's not e marked!!

Slightly off topic but we're great at that on this forum I saw this at Hastings Callum, which would be better suited to your username...

Some fine hardware. I think your collection tops it for me, Precis. But I'm another one who is very drawn to TC's DR Big.

Is the flying machine your own, Precis? Do you get to take it up often?

My Capo currently shares garage space with two other bikes:

And a 1984 Honda VF700S Sabre, which I bought as a non-running winter project bike that I'm prepping to sell soon:

Before these, I've owned a few others...

Of all of my previous bikes, I'd like to own the VFR again. It sounded like music and was a joy to ride. I just might buy another one someday....

Nice bikes Britt...TC will dig those panniers on the Onda BB...

Now is the time to buy VFR's they are very cheap over here in the UK at the moment...a good low mileage one can be had for around 1,500 GBP

Recently sold the old Sabre and picked up a small dual sport that my boy can learn on. 1992 Yamaha XT225 Serow. Seems like a nicely built little thumper that is still big enough that it can tote me around....

    Another new bike

Well my time with my KLR650 was short - just about 10 months. I had some amazing rides on it exploring the sand roads in northern Michigan.... places where the Capo is a simply just too much work to ride. The KLR was a bit boring though and felt rather tractor like...

Yesterday I traded it with a man who lives about an hour away. Last year he picked up a 1998 KTM 620 Adventure with only 1,700 mils on it, but he never found the time to tune it up and enjoy it. Well now it's in my garage with a fresh oil change (what a job!) and a fairly thorough scrubbing. It deserves fresh coolant and brake fluids, but on my three laps around my block..... I can't imagine getting bored on this bike! The motor does vibrate but it's a rocket compared to the old KLR motor. Time will tell if the vibes will get to me.

It came from the factory with dual Supertrapp mufflers. I have to admit that I much prefer the high mounted exhaust of the later years, however this is pretty unique and I'll likely never see another one. It also comes with a very beefy bash plate that I look forward to bashing...

The Capo still has its place as my primary ride. I bought it with 2,500 miles on it, and I'm now at 20,000 and still loving it....
