What's the deal on my headlight? '74 Sprint

It's from my '74 Vespa Sprint 150. This one is blown, a 6 v lamp. I've been converting to 12v but finding this item in any voltage is a challenge. It is a SAE M 67. Perhaps i don't understand: does one replace the whole thing or somehow does it come apart and I replace the bulb inside. Looks pretty hard to open, but then bike was in storage for 14 years. Maybe the seal has just hardened into a petrified state. Any help appreciated. Cannot find replacement at Scooter West where I get most of my stuff. Click image for larger version.

Looks to be a sealed beam unit, meaning you replace the whole thing. A modern automotive fog light might be doable, not sure how you would do both low and high beams though in one of those?

    Thanks Micah,
I'm sure other Sprint owners have found sources for the sealed beam unit. Hopefully, one will get back to me.
    Cheers, Cordell

You might try emailing the guys at The Lightbuld Shop in Austin Texas if they are still around, they always amazed me with what they could find!
