Vespa LX 150 ie vs Vespa GTS 125 ie

Hi Guys, I was at the vespa dealer in amman yesterday and was comparing both the Vespa LX 150 ie and the GTS 125 ie and was surprised to know that the GTS has more HP than the LX even though the LX has a bigger displacement. Does anyone know why that is? also I would like to know your recommendation how much more comfortable is the GTS to the LX, I am 6,2 and weigh 260 LBS. your thoughts are much appreciated

The 125 ie is a higher compression, higher revving, 4 valve per cylinder, water cooled motor, the 150 is an air cooled, two valve motor. Try out a 300, I have one, friggin love that bike!

Totally agree with you Micah, but in Jordan only scooters with 150 cc and below are allowe. Otherwise the 300 would be the perfect engine size

The 300cc motor bolts right in...it can say 125 on the outside!

Nope, it's possible with a lot of custom fabrication to swap about any motor into any scooter, but as far as bolt in and go...unlikely at best.
