    Pretty funny that the V4R after the price cut is actually less then a 848 Streetfighter.

    Thats what actually made my decision to get the T instead of the 848

    Actually I'm not happy about the price. Not because I paid more but I feel like they've cheapened the brand. I know they have to do what they have to do but Aprilia use to be considered the same as a Duc, or MV but now they are actually compared to the Jap bikes because of price. Forgive my shallowness but I've always enjoyed the fact that not everyone had (or could have) the same bike as me. But from a value standpoint, yes, it cannot be beat.

    I don't hear anyone comparing a V4R to a Japanese bike any more then they do Ducati. A V4R is still way more exotic and exclusive then a 848. Don't expect to see them on every street corner just because the price dropped. A Tuono V4R screams top of the line Aprilia while the 848 screams budget Ducati a couple notches above a monster. The 1098S on the other hand was more at the Tuono's level.
