That was awesome for me to watch as I know practically every single road you rode on.
I used to live in N Finchley and then Primrose Hill and dispatch rode around Lundun for quite a while.
Interesting commute. You sure that wasn't a ride from a GF's or friends back to your place? You certainly know your Lundun.
Great riding too. I used to ride EXACTLY like that around Lundun. I only saw one place where I would have made a different decision where you chose not to go to the right of the white van fairly early on.
I wonder if I know you.
Gonna watch that again for sure. I live in a small country town in Australia now so getting a Lundun fix makes me nostalgic.
Haha - glad to be of help for your fix.
Never dispatched here, but been riding to work and back around London pretty much every day for the last 34 years, so I've got a good knowledge. It's a great city, made even better by using a bike in it every day. I often envy you guys with wide open spaces and no traffic, but I know I would always miss my life here.

    Just ordered one off ebay.

I was playing with the modes this morning as it was wet for the first time in about 4 weeks (possibly a record, ever, for Wales! And I've only had the bike 3 weeks...) and I decided that R was just too gutless even with roads about as greasy as they get. I accidentally left it in S after that and wondered why it was soooo happy to be heading home from work when I pulled away... soon found out when I tried to adjust my speed for parked cars/oncoming traffic

Put back into T but then tried S again on the twisty/fun way home - still too snatchy for random bumpy Welsh back roads. So, as I'm not changing sprockets until I change the chain, giving this little tweek a go.

I really like this bike, costing me a small fortune getting it sorted though! (Must update my opening post...)

Fitted mine Sunday, rode to work this morning with the adjuster left at the dot as supplied.

I know I'm going to want to tweak it, but ... blimey! .... now chugging neatly through town in Sport

There is the tiniest touch of surging at 30 in 3rd in Sport; the throttle is still sensitive too, but not so much as before when every tiny bump sent it up and down.

I think I'll probably find how lean I can go to keep it smooth in Touring and then see where that leaves Sport; I can still see me using Touring mainly, especially as we head into the grotty weather...

Anyone found a better way to install on an early Shiver?
How far does the wire need to be away from the exhaust?

The first post on the thread pretty much covers it. Look for the plug from the lambda probe that's attached just inside the swing arm. You'll see it laying on your back!
