    Just picked up my Falco

I'm happy to say that I'm now a member of the Falco family. Just bought a silver '02 from kevdoyle, a member of this board. 2000 miles on it, and carbon RSC cans, sachs mille rear shock, new pirelli tires and more...

My SV650 has been great...but there's just no comparison. The Falco is a sweet machine!

    Welcome to the family.

Glad you didn't pick up an SV1000.

The 650's good, but the 1000 sucks by all accounts.

I too just stepped up to a falco from an SV. The SV is great, but I am in love with my Falco.

    Welcome to the club fellas.

Now prepare to give your wallets and credit cards the hammering of a lifetime as everyone here passes on tips on how to make the Falco experience even more exciting.

I live in Cleveland Park. I've only been riding in the area for a year and a half, so I'm still exploring. I've spent a lot of time in VA and done a few rides in MD just north of the city and east toward Annapolis. Always interested in suggestions for great area routes...

check out the forums at sportbikes.com. There is a very active MD group that i normally ride with.

There is also DCsportbikes.com and DCsportbikes.net.

The .net group is very big, but mostly in VA. Their group rides can be more than 35 people.

I havent ridden with the .com people much, but i do booze with them when they come into the city.

    Cool

We gotta all meet sooner than that

I could organize a kickass mountain loop but that would be a little long for the DC contingency.

A more relaxed ride would be Rt 9 down to Dover DE or around the PA/MD border like Rt 841 or Rt 82 around Wilmington. I love Rt 9...nothing challenging about it but still fun and you can smell the crabs
