Fan-freakin-tastic! I'll be in the market for a new Stelvio in the next year or so. I see a fly and ride down to San Antonio in my future! Congrats, AF1!

Well I've got, (Scratches head???) 5 Guzzis sort of in one piece.

    1980 1000SP
    1980 V1000 I-Convert
    1989? Mille GT in England
1983 Eldorado 850 Soon to be in NZ
2008 Griso 1200 with the top two, here in Bungendore.

2 Aprilias. Both Manas my 2008 Plain Jane here and my GT currently being abused by Jon and Bren (FGO) in LA.

I've also got a whole shed full of older Guzzi shit that'll probably go back together someday including my 890cc short stroke hot-rod that was producing 86RWHP before I wrecked it out. Not too shabby for an old Tonti, a stock Griso 11 produces about 76! Alsothere is *most* of a Lodola I really want out of. If anyone wants to take it away, (Its in bits.) please do so!!!)

I'm probably one of the few Guzzisti who is actually glad that Piaggio bought Guzzi and Aprilia. For the first time in decades Guzzi actually have someone with some money behind them in charge. Moaners say that it's all no good because its not all done 'In House' at Mandello any more. I say 'Thank Christ!', especially the accounts dept, was responsible for more cheap-ass fuque-knuclery than any company should have to bear. If there was a way to spoil an otherwise splendid motorbike by doing it 'On the Cheap' the Mandello buyers would find it! I'm HOPING that the tappet problems on the early 8V's will be the LAST occasion we have a great machine spoilt by penny pinching accountants!!!!

As for the 'Prilla gear? I REALLY like the 'In House' designed engines. The shiver motor especially is a gem. RSV-4 is pretty crackin' too......

Would you be selling the Breva to pick up a new Stelvio?

    NO!!!

When it's time, I would probably just try to add to the stable. Might have to do some reconfiguring of the garage though.
The Futura would probably be the first victim (if I had to sell something).

First Guzzi sale I. Process as of yesterday! So relieved that they are actually gonna sell! If you have any Guzzi special requests we can order it in and make your sale as simple as possible! The demo Griso has not spent a single night at the shop since I made it run andKirk and I got to customizing a bit. So far only the youngest shop mate of mine does not love it. EVERYONE else does. This is going to be a bold new experience. I will be back in socal in late spetmeber for Guzzi technical training! this starting to be a lot fun and a symbiotic relationship!

Just found this thread, been out of touch for ten days on a trip to Laguna. Great that you guys are now Guzzi peddlers, hope you sell a load of them!

I've been commuting to my office in the mornings. It's a sunny one here in the Seattle area. This made me pull out the Guzzi for my ride today!

WTF, from this thread it appears to me that Aprilia and Guzzi owners are either one in the same, share a lot of common DNA or Guzzi is a sort of natural progression for us aging Aprilia guys and gals? I can finally see why now at a personal level!

Prolly lots of closet Guzzi admirers out there.

Just something about that big ole mechanical lump sticking out there for all to see that gets the juices flowing.
