I know a bunch of guys who ride Thruxtons. They all seem to like them and bolt on all sorts of stuff.
    Bikes:
    2007.5 Tuono-Black, with 1102cc's of micah's badness!
2012 Griso-Silver and black, Agostini pipe, some carbon bits.
2006 Vespa GT200-bitubo suspension all around, Malossi big-bore, head and cam, Akrapovic pipe, all put together by Micah.

gone 2002 Caponord-Oyster gray (as faithful as a hound dog)
gone Futura-Red (on the AF1 showroom floor. Get some.)

The more I learn about people, the more I appreciate rocks.

For a Griso client of ours he ended up going with a Zard slip on. I wasn't in love with the sound of it, however it did finally bring to light the beautiful rear wheel.

Guzzi line for me is very under appreciated- The V7 is a great beginner bike & local commuter (even in "cafe" form, the riding position isn't aggressive at all). The Griso will make ANYONE'S head turn (I could only imagine what that SE is like in person), and I think once we receive the latest incarnation of the Stelvio NTX, it'll be a direct GS competitor for sure.

Lovely lovely lovely, that red classic is stunning, shame they don't seem to do them in the UK in that colour.

Now, that MG logo on yawls racing trailer is 'correct'!

    + 1

I saw one on the MG's (is that proper?) US website & thought the combo was sweet-looking. Too now have one @ AF1 (how long?), I must go see in person.

My first thoughts are how massive the powerplant is visually....just a bike built around the engine. Somehow done right, eh?

The green one with the black frame looks really cool, very elegant. Someone should make a cool exhaust for these bikes.

The green one is the Griso SE, sold in some markets as the Griso Tenni. Same basic package as the stock 8V but with wire wheels, paint job, suede seat and 'Conventional' rotors rather than the wave rotors used on 'Standard' G8's.

    Yes, they are VERY pretty.

Oh the Griso is nice on the road. Good fuel economy too! Steers very light yet tracks corners brilliantly. What an underrated bike. It seems about perfect for hauling my ass back and forth from work. I might have to try putting some real miles on it this weekend. Only covered about 50 miles so far and each of them has been rather pleasant.

I highly reccomend a test drive. It is just weird enough you might like it. Got huge compliments from a Macheteros member last night while out cruising. That shit has never happened to me before on any bike and I often take cruisers and HD's home after dyno tuning. Odd?

Damn Micah. What's next? You gonna mount up a green and yellow John Deere sign?

Cool to see another Italian bike in there though! MV next?

no, not really. It is an occasional surprise. Hog riders will give Guzzi's their only non-American acknowldgements>
The sight that shocked my ass was at the San Francisco Cycle World Bike Expo in the late '80s - I saw a Hells Angel riding a BMW K100.

You know it's weird. I have an Aprilia Tuono(03)& it has always gotten looks, but mostly from sport or naked bike guys. HD & cruiser guys just think it's weird & ugly.
But my Griso 8V(09)gets looks from EVERYONE! Sport bike guys seem to like it(espicially older guys). Classic/antique guys REALLY like it & HD guys do give it it's props! It's cool to them because it's an air cooled V twin(Just a little sideways!). Jap cruiser guys generally have never, of it.
This is the first year I've ridden it full time(Working on the Tuono)& have come to terms with the handling You can't ride it like the Tuono.
