Jeez - no chance I have enough to do just with new top ends and keeping carbs in balance etc etc where I to spend as much time as you in the garage as you do I would be into a serious revolt fom the long haired enemy and all priviliges suspended
But your posts as with girls in their twenties its nice to look and dream

+1 your posts are great, keep them coming. Valuable info for my very similar project and always an inspiration to see how someone of your skills tackles the issues that come up.

    Fuel tank

Got my carbon fiber fuel tank the other day.. NOT FINISHED! the two parts fresh from the mold.. I have to modify the bottom part and make a new "lowest part" of the tank where I can place the new fuel pump.. Then my friend will have to make a mold from the base and make a final bottom. When everything is okay we can bond the two part together..

Looks like a Honda CBR600RR 04 fuel pump will give me 3.5 bars of pressure and 68 L/H .. this is what I´m going for.. I might not have room for the fuel level sensor in my tank. I will have to remove it and just keep an eye on the fuel level then The pump diameter (flange) is 82 mm and the height without the fuel level sensor is 120 mm..

Bottom - will be modified, not the final result..

    Top part outside

    Top part inside

    Tank mounted loosely

weight of the new tank (untrimmed and not all done) is around 1200 grams..

The exhaust is almost done.. some pics will come during the week..

    Wheels

Ooops.. accidentally pressed the "Buy now" button on ebay..

Lightweight wheels for the project just like new, I LOVE the blue color..
I have found a cheap almost new Ohlins fork with calipers too. Including rebuild for the new bike weight. this was supposed to be a "cheap" project.. But I just can´t live with half finished things.. I´d rather go all (almost) the way
Exhaust system about done too, just needs welding.

Exhaust fully welded.. Just need the support points and the "hooks" where the assembly springs sits..
