2004 Moto Guzzi Breva V750IE like it?

    Hey guys,
I am thinking of buying this bike. It has 16,000 miles and rear luggage. What do you guys think of this bike? I am looking for something for two up riding and day trips with an occasional overnighter.

You might find the baby Breva a bit cranped for two-up riding. The smallblocks are a sweet handling little thing but they are, by contemprary standards, underpowerd and because of their Heron head design are not easy to tweak for more performance.

Their one a achilles heel is their small engine oil capacity. On long runs, especially in hot weather and doubly especially if they haven't been broken in agressively, they will tend to consume oil and if the level isn't checked they can run their big ends when the level gets too low. Thisi is easily addressed with a Guzzitech sump expension and other than this, as long as they have been looked after and set up well, they are pretty much bulletproof.
