    There is nothing wrong with the oem connectors. Most problems are caused by poor copper wire oxidizing, inside the connectors.

    Here's how you fix that, read this <http://www.apriliaforum.com/forums/showthread.php?240336-Regulator-Rectifier-Replacement-Supply&p=3252390&viewfull=1#post3252390>.

    Have a look at the image below , there is a single wire connector to the top right of the picture this is the one side of the connector you should find the other half of it somewhere very near they are quite often tucked down the side of the battery . Connect these two together and switch on the icgnition and wait up to a minute for the error code to come up on the dash .The connector with the four holes in is for the ECU . Steve

    Lightbulb Fuel tank workstand (possibly UK only)

    If you have a wheelie bin like this (East Riding of Yorkshire council issue blue recycling small version) it makes a tip top fuel tank stand. Pump and fittings hang down into the bin so do not get crushed, the 'ears' locate around the handle, and you can access the nipples to clean them up.

    my bins come in handy too lol. On weekends they become my tuning station for the Lads that come around. I use my BBQ as a tank stand as it allows me to run the bike with the tank off.

    Go look at your US fords and find out which models had the 1.3i DURATEC engines. Unfortunately even tho I work for Ford they wont cross ref UK TO US markets/models Uk employees are not entitled to know specs of US models. We are not even allowed to supply parts for Non UK models. FORD are helpful like that :/

    ebay is your friend here I think

    Replaced the main wiring harness on my 2002 Capo. Over the years, I've wired in harness bypasses when I lost a harness connections, but there were getting to be many. Aprilia dropped the price to less than $200 (from $650!), so it followed me home;

    Rumors claim Chinese wiring harnesses, but can you tell us what this language is?

    The red stripes on the harness line up with particular spots on the fairing frame. Pay attention to where these are if you need to replace yours.

    Its nice having ALL electrical circuits working again. I wish I could say the same thing about the tachometer in the instrument cluster.
