The great thing about not planning is that failure comes as a complete surprise and is not preceded by bouts of worry and depression

10 minutes earlier we had travelled across this road bridge across the Forth. 30 mph speed limit because of the high winds. At one point I swear a gust of wind picked me up and moved me 6 feet across the carriagway, very scarey. Earlier on in the day we had travelled across Glen Coe in high winds and heavy rain and at times it seemed as though we had a full right lock on whilst moving forward. There was even brave souls on cycles having a race.

This is my bike which I just bought recently. It's a Pegaso 3 (1997) with a milage of 40+k. Picture was taken on the 18th Oct 2009 while touring from the West to East of Peninsular Malaysia.

Only just started using the Trail off-road and can't believe how good it is. I had a Strada for 2 years and now reckon I made the wrong choice because it's on-road manners are very similar but can now take it pretty much anywhere.

HI Guys & Dolls everything to do with the accident I had last year has finally been settled. The bike has been classed Category C, Sold it to a friend at work and he'll be rebuilding it. It was priced up at over £5000 worth of damage ... ouch.

Any one got a .pdf copy of the workshop manual for the Strada/Trail, It'd be a big help for my mate if I could get him a copy.

    Cheer, Paul

Just about fully recovered, need to build my fitness levels back up for hill walking etc. I did contemplate re-building the Trail myself but don't have the time/skills/friends with know how, to do the job cheaply ... I've not dismissed the idea of getting another bike yet, but getting the car has put it off for this year at least.

    Hope everyone's well
