    Gameboy for PureJet?

    Hello.

I know, that Gameboy with Aprilia cartridge works with Morini engine SR. Does it work also with PureJet Piaggio/Gilera engines?

    Thanks for the answer.

    Regards

    Strange .....realy strange

-Other way around works (I been told) ,........same as Morini ecu on Peug scoot works (I can proof ) ,and PIA TC-Unit on Morini works (I can proof)

please give me more info erik :

-What scoot ? what year ? imobiliser onboard ?

i have tried a nrg ecu, peugeot ecu and factory ecu on the old ditech.
non of the combination is working.
you get the fuelpump running, but thats it.
i have also tried the old ditechs ecu on a nrg, and on a peugeot, but it ends up with the same result.
the factory ecu needs a signal from the mobilizer, of course, so thats why it wont work on older ditechs.

Peug and Factory ECU's need the signal yes .........

-But the old morini ECU's don't thats whay they work ,when you do other way around

So old Morini ECU on Peug does work ,and its done here to avoid the the derestriction problem that PEUG have build in (cant be derestricted anymore after 2,80 )...........

It gives the imu warning (same as the non-euro factory's get using a Malossi) ,and no rpm function availeble......

Littel note: The Morini ECU is mine ......the Jetforce where its pluged in isn't

But for same reason I cant believe, the NRG would not work on Morini ...

-They don't have a imobiliser ,do they ?

The scoot isn't the problem with or without imobiliser ........

-Its the ECU's that needs the signal given before they act

    As example:
Otherwise a Malossi would not work in Morini Factory

    Yes ............

    Reason for asking :

IF the NRG ecu would have a Imobiliser the Nrg ECU would need a signal given before it start up

-Plug that same ECU in a old SR , the ECU would not get the signal (because ther is no imobiliser) ,and so would not run

    BUT ......

The NRG has no imobiliser ,so the ECU needs no signal (its a FREE version) ,and so will fire up ( in every scoot if you ask me)

i did think exactley like you.
my friend was here with his nrg, and wanted to have it derestricted.
the problem was that somebody had cut off the connector to the pia computer on his scoot.
so i took a derestricted ecu from an old ditech, and changed it with his nrg ecu.
we didnt get it to start with the aprilia ecu, only the pump was priming.
putting his nrg ecu back again, the scoot was running, but restricted of course.

I can not argument on this one .........
-Although it is 2x claimed of working on ouhr forum ,i dint tested it myself

    But for the others :

-I did send (old) Morini ecu to a Peug driver ,and he showed me speed movie's from before and after

From there a other Peug owner did the same with same results ; Imo warning,no rpm ,but derestricted runners

-I did test a TC-Unit (normal use PIA) on Morini engine (so needed driveline's are the same)

And with the Malossi Digitronic kit ,being sold working on every injection scoot availleble (so needed driveline's are the same) ,where would be the differends ?

    i belive you max.
i have also heard that i will work on peugeot.
both aprilia and peugeot are using gameboy, maybe thats why its working.
piaggio and gilera have there own "computer", (seen on your picture.)
it could be somthing different there.
