what sliders are you using?

Looks like the old skateboard wheel slider trick.

Yes, the wheel sliders are just simple skateboard wheels.
Front number plate is from a Honda CRF 450.
Fits with a few modifications and looks the part

Nice to see someone on the forum who is on the track with the bike. We all eagerly await your thoughts on the bike at the track.

Very nice I like how you used the lcd number font from the factory bikes.

Looks like the old skateboard wheel slider trick.
I may do this also, so I take it you keep the bearings in the wheel and use all-thread for the portion that runs through the axle????

Just curious what size rear are you running? I haven't received my bike yet but i was just thinking the 180 rear might be a little big and wasnt sure how it'll handle compared to a smaller tire size.

Had a fantastic day on Monday. Managed to keep it sunny side up.
The bike went really well, with lots of power. Handles well and stops well.
Just have to get used to riding it and learn to back it in. I think I need a slipper clutch to make it easier. After riding a 500 cc 2 stroke, it's just great to have that magic starter button. Now have a few weeks to get it ready for first race on 24th September. Racing in S1 open class and over 40 years vets class.
Running a 165 slick on the rear at the moment and seems to handle OK.
Will try a 180 when I need a new slick.
Skateboard wheels are fastened using all thread through the axles.
Anyone else racing an SXV?
How are your going with it?
Has anyone fitted a slipper clutch and does it make much difference?
Thanks
Gordon
