I love it. It rides much better than my 87 Yamaha YSR50. This is my first full size bike and I wanted something easy to learn on. Only complaint so far is that it is kinda slow in acceleration. Wish they made the 250 legal here. Working on buying some performance mods on it but money is kinda tight right now. My first mod will probably be a Arrow carbon fiber pipe. Just got off phone with my insurance company and got a great deal of $113 per 6 months for it and that's full coverage with a $500 deductible. I could get $78 per 6 months if I wanted liability only.

I'm thinking of getting the rear sprocket. What size would you recommend? Also do you know where I could pick up a rear bike stand, similiar to the red ones I see on other sites?

Do you have a RS50 as well? I think I'm the only one here in Las Vegas with a RS50. I've been living here for over 5yrs and haven't see a RS50 or even an Aprilia at all. Where do you live? Here is a pic of my other ride a YSR50:

Congrats and welcome to the forum. If you're looking for advice try posting in the RS50 part of this board. But, I'll try and help you a bit with mod advice. I'd say you've got a good idea about changing the exhaust. With that I'd also go with a bigger carb and 14/45 sprockets (14 front/ 45 rear). New tires are also another nice addition. My bike is still 50cc with Jolly Moto pipe, 21mm carb, some porting and head work/reshaping and modified piston. I get an average of 75mph in Seattle so, it should do better for you in Lost Wages.

BTW....nice YSR, did you have much done to it?

Thanks for the advice. My first mod will surely be a new Arrow exhaust. The best so far online is $190 for the whole system. My friend owns an ATV shop and is looking for a Arrow pipe for me as well. He makes some awesome custom ATV's, they cost about $15k-$50k each. He is going to help me out on modding my RS50.

I hope to achieve your top speed of 75mph, which is going to do fine for the streets here in Los Wages. I've only achieved a top speed of 55mph with the stock bike so far. The acceleration is the biggest disappointment so far.

As for my YSR50, I've only done a few mods to it. I put a new pipe and a larger Mikuni carb. The fastest so far with that set up is about 60mph. I don't take it on the streets too much, riding kneed high to cars scars the $h!t out of me.
