Recently purchased Tuono Racing,& am still in break-in period. The airbox has been derestricted & Renegade High mount slip-ons have been installed. Also, I have switched eproms to the one supplied by Renegade & the factory racing chip that came wtih the Factory racing exhaust. I am experiencing A flat spot or hesitation between 3500 & 4000 rpm. It is not as severe with the factory eprom as it is with the Renegade. Since I'm still in break-in,
I don't know if rev band above 6000 is affected.
Any suggestions (airbox kit, fuel pressure etc.)????????

Most people experience a flat spot at 5K rpm; I did on my Tuono R. According to the dynoing that I did on my bike, the RSC slip-on doesn't do much to get rid of it; it just gives you a few hp on top.

The Evo airbox smooths is out some, but on my bike it needed a full system and custom-mapped PCIII to get rid of it completely. The power curve on my bike is now completely smooth with no flat spot at all. It rides much better. ;)

And Congrats on the Tuono Racing!
