View Full Version : Close to pulling the trigger

I'm getting VERY close to closing the deal on a new TUONO with Extreme Motorsports in Long Island, NY.

I'm so F@%king excited, I can't stand it!

Should I ask the dealer to syncronize the TB's before I take delivery or will he think I'm crazy for asking him to do that?

I'm asking for a shop manual to be thrown in the deal too.

Anything else?

Glen:D How about derestriction and the needed chip ?

I got the derestriction and the first service (which can be expensive) thrown in. They should be balancing the TBs and CO anyway (or at least at the first service).

Oh, and the full shop manual can be downloaded on-line.

thanks boys

I will enjoy doing the de-restriction myself during the winter.

Definatly make them balance the TB and do the Co before
you pick it up do not wait till the first service. It makes such a diference you won,t believe if the TB are out of sync I posted my experiences in a earlier post about my experience.

Get them to pull out the derestrictors while they are going.

Cheers and Goodluck

The dealer is going to de-restrict for me and also include the initial service free of charge.

He says that the derestriction does not include a chip. He says the "Euro" chip will not work on a U.S. Tuono.
So the "derestriction" is just to the stock exhaust and the airbox restrictor.

This dealer sold a Tuono Racing to Bernie Williams of the NY Yankees this summer.

Moto Italiano sold a gray Tuono to an ex-NBA guy, forget his name but he's a monster! So's his bike, all kinda cool stuff on it...
