Man mine's usually black in 100 miles or so.I just flush it once a month or so.It's not the color that bugs me it's the particulate floating around in it.I believe that's what causes the leaking some guys experience.

Yes it's true, despite what Araihead may say. The fluid in mine turns black quick as well. I'm told it is the heat from the clutch that does it. Just flush it once in a while and everything will be fine.

I don't like the black clutch fluid either. But, all I do is suck out the black fluid from the reservoir and refill with clean fluid. Pump the clutch several times. A liitle new black fluid is circulated out. Suck it out one more time. Top off with clean fluid.....and Go.

Now, my '03 has 33,000 miles on it and this is all the service the clutch has every had. I don't think you need to bleed it.
