Non of the above, I'd use it as a reason to buy carbon panels.

How would I? I don't think I would bother. Buy replacments with the colours gelled in. I got some minor scuffage from a crash with a gelled in fairing and all you do is use a really fine Wet and Dry, polish and you wouldn't know its been crashed, just looks like new again. Awesome stuff, I'll never have a fairing painted again. Until self repairing paints and plastics come out that is.

i would pay for new panels, as my bike is new and want to keep it looking as good as it does now, so willing to pay the price to ensure good job, plus i cant respray and if i did would look shit lol

Do you know the prices you're looking at?

You missed out the "restore ebay bought panels" option, which is what I've had to do once.

I'd leave it, if its only cosmetic.

SoulRider, about 400 each

I had mine painted professionally, then stickers made up at a sign shop, 95% as close to the original's as possible I'd say they turned out.

Cost me 50 for a front and side panel to be painted, plus a fiver for the stickers as it was a friend of my dads. Unless you get the ruler out, you can't really tell they're different between sides.

Cost me 25 pound per lion sticker on the left and right hand side and it was BETTER than the originals.
Then 100 pound per fucked panel (including deepish gouge marks and torn screw threads )! CHEEEEP

And it still looks mint

i'd leave it unless it wasnt cosmetic only, ie: hanging off, in which case i'd bodge it unless it's unbodgeable, in which case i'd buy a cheap damaged one that wasnt hanging off and make do

neither, scrapped the bike. panels were the least of my worries with bent subframe, smashed everything else etc

Would respray my self, and buy cheap decals.

When i got my bike, it had no decals so i got them made up via a website.

Genuine aprilia decals are far to overpriced. Even the plastics are overpriced.

But thats my views.
