The new Falco-R is great too! Look forward to a personal visit with this bike too. Aprilia is leading the way again!

But for the name it knocks my socks off. Very
clean design, I salute the stylist! I hear it
uses a full power Mille motor and is light in
weight. It's the pure essence of a motorbike.
Brilliant.

I hate to be negative but looking through my eyes this bike is highly unattractive and a complete waste of R&D.

Sorry Big Daddy, but I have to disagree, this thing looks the dogs danglies! Check the seat curving through that rear subframe, twin exhausts etc, fab! I've seen it described as retro, but it just looks well designed (from an aesthetic standpoint) to me!

Anyway, the wider the appeal of Aprilia the more cash they make and hopefully the better for all us owners.

and nobody has even mentioned that this thing is going to be VERY light, with a full-power Mille engine....go ride your Mille with no bodywork and tell me how much lighter and faster it is, I was completely shocked when I rode one sans bodywork.

The Blue Marlin will probably wheelie in all gears....just my guess

seat, frame, engine, and wheels.....that is all you really need anyways

The design idea was based on Aprilia's first motorbike....go look at pictures of it and you'll see the same design lines...

Hello,

The only picture I found previous to the release of this roadster was this one: www.honda-geneve.com/glynnkerr/ApriliaV-Mille.html (http://www.honda-geneve.com/glynnkerr/ApriliaV-Mille.html)
Personaly I like the drawing more than the blue marlin, but hey, who am I. I don't dislike the marlin to, it's just to much retro for me.

What do you think about this bike, the "V-Mille"?

Rgds,
Wouter

I agree with Big Daddy. Aprilia would be better off
spending more time writing a user's manual that
depicts the oil changing procedure, and making
service manuals available to the public. the Marlin
looks like a plain Jane to me.
