I will be there both days with my wife. We are going to be control riders and will be out in the advanced group for fun.

I'll be the guy sleeping in the orange Honda Element, wondering why he's so slow...

Hey Carlos, what's up man?! I like the elevation changes at BeaveRun, especially the 5-6-7 combo. Kind of reminds me of a mini Corkscrew...

IIRC, that south NJ track is scheduled for 2007. I sure hope it actually happens....

That last turn is really cool...except I did it at like 20MPH following some stupid control rider :D

Driving out Friday night, I left the deluge on the East Coast and arrived late to a dark Beaver. Saturday a steady breeze helped to dry the track, but the cool temps encouraged caution over valor. There were 4 crashes that day, 3 of them at "turn 0.5" just after pit out! We eventually got hit with rain Saturday afternoon, rendering the last set of sessions null and void.

It rained most of Saturday and we awoke Sunday morning to a cold, wet Beaver. It stayed pretty wet the whole morning, contributing to my low-siding in the downhill right turn 7 and sliding onto the grass. A dry line eventually formed around the track, and with the help of Eddie and Mary (Thanks for the brake lever off of Mary's 125!), I was on the track in the afternoon. The first session back was very tentative (nobody wants to fall down two consecutive sessions), but I eventually found some of my mojo later on and had fun.

For those that haven't been there, it's a fun little track.
