Ok I'm taking off all the plastics and disconnected the lights to fit new race skins on the bike. Plastics should arrive tomorrow. I disconnected a wire and I noticed the immobilizer light stopped blinking. strange. I go to turn the bike on and there is no power nothing. Just like it's off!. the key is in the on position. Help! do I have to take it to the dealer? Did the immobilizer kick on?

ok found the issue was a disconnected wire that powered something.

Glad you found the problem, otherwise a standard thing to check when things like that happen are the fuses :)

Yeah I know dumb move on my part.

What do you guys do with the wires? The ones that connects to the lights, taillights, brake lights? Are there anything to cap them off or do you tape them up or does it matter?

I usually stick some silicone grease in the connector to prevent any corrosion, then I tape them up with electrical tape.
