ive just ordered a sr50 ditech and im wondering what i should buy to make the scooter go about 90km/h and have very fast acceleration.

im already getting the scooter deristricted, computer reprogramed and the clutch settings changed so it can go about 70-80.

im thinking of a Leo ZX or Giannelli NRX exhaust, but are there any other exhaust that work with the ditech?

also, im not really clear about the "run in" of the scooter... go flat out or go slow??? tell me so i can tell the shop im buying from to shove his bs where tha sun dont shine...

so... what should i get? MHR Delta Clutch? Giannelli NRX or Leo ZX pipe? help?

My sr50 ditech came from the dealer able to go 53mph (85kph), but I only had it go that fast going downhill. Recently, I had the dealer replace the stock exhaust with an Arrow kit that came with new variator roller weights and a clutch spring. It's much louder now, but accelerates a bit faster, powers up hills better and now has a top speed of around 55mph (90kph) on flats. It's much more fun to drive now. I only wonder why Aprilia doesn't ship it like that.

Oh yeah... I ran it flat out from day one. No problems so far.

would some one be willing to explain to me what is involved in the "reprogramming" process? what software would be installed on a 2003 sr50 ditech?

The dealer simply removes a cover, plugs the scooter into an Axone or Gamaboy color and then loads the new program to the scooters ecu.

for running-in the new scooter as Micah would say "RUN IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT!!!" Micah's best performing bikes are run-in that way with no probs and please use a very good fully synthetic 2T oil, your scooter will love you because of it.:)

hi, the shop im buying from still insist's that the scooter im getting should not be driven as if i just stole it. they say the engine would wear out within a couple weeks or if im lucky a month or 2. the laws on scooters here in holland are extremely strict so i may have to drive it "slowly". no faster than 40 @ all times... yeah rite:evil:

what should i have done to the scooter? what should i buy? none of my friends @ school know because they all own scooters with carbs. and which exhaust is best suited for the ditech?

this is the scooter which i get in 10 days!!

hi, i do not know much about the ditech and what you can get to tune it, but these are a couple things im possibly getting:

Gameboy Reprograming
MHR Delta Clutch
MHR Scooter Multivar
MHR Kevlar Belt
Leo Vinci ZX or Giannelli NRX or Arrow Kompress

is there anything else besides the "70cc kits" that you can buy to tune the ditech? Also are there any other turn-back exhausts that work with the ditech?

thanks

my ditech is de-restricted (re-mapped and spacer removed) and has a giannelli pro 6 pipe, malossi multivar variator and kevlar belt. top speed is around 70 mph on the speedo (about 60 reality) and it out accelerates most other scoots.

hi, ive just remembered reading some where about a after market air compressor availiable for the Ditech (probably one of the many other forums here). Im just curious to know, if any one has one, what it does to the performance of the scooter, if any at all...<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/ohwell.gif ALT=":\">

well, what i know is being done to my scooter so far is that it will have Gameboy v 2.5, something will happen to the variator (my dealers english isnt the best) and possibly the clutch will b switched for a MHR Delta staight away.

thanx
