View Full Version : Is it possible ever to derestrct and restrict while riding?

This seems it might be possible if you have an on board software eventually and using a macro for switching the 2. this would be a cool boost button maybe. all theoracally though.

Has anybody deriscted this ditech at home or watch the dealer do it? I bet it doesn't take long.

rev-limiters have been around for years. Switch the knob and set the max. RPM you want.

(Smart cops will notice the scooter will not rev like it shoudl, but there aren't too many smart cops)

Also it's not good to drive around long with the rev limiter on, because it can kill the ignition.

Also a good STOCK restrictor is the manual choke. Specially on Aprilia's and Yamaha's were you can adjust ot from the steering bar. Just open it and the scooter will run bad. Not as effective as a rev limiter though.
