I switched from Bridgestone slicks to Pirelli at the end of last season for one race weekend. Excellent grip. However, the Pirelli has a more rounded profile than the Bridgestone as well as a softer more forgiving sidewall. I kept running wide at the exit of any turn. Solved the problem slightly by running a higher pressure in the front ( 31 psig ). It was not a ride height problem since the Bridgestone and Pirelli were the same diameter within about 1 mm. I will run Pirelli this season unless Michelin's new Power Race becomes THE tire.

rode the new michelin for 3 days on track, nice tyre but i'm too unexperienced to feel the difference with another (i did put on a supercorsa SC2 rear the last day)
