After cleaning the powervalves, is it better to let them run dry or spray silicone or something in there to keep the crud from sticking.

i usually submerse mine in a small dish full of two sroke oil before putting them back in the barrel. dont know if this is right but they operate smooth as hell. :cathat:

On the advice of my tuner, I use some moly paste when I first slide them back in the cylinder, but they get plenty of oil during engine operation as is evident when you go to clean them. You can buy the RGV Kit powervalve covers that have an oil drain spigot and run hoses to the catch can, or you can drill and tap threads and install your own spigots. This makes cleaning them that much easier.
