View Full Version : de-restricitng a Leo pipe

real simple.....there is an exhaust restrictor cone welded just a few millimeters down the head pipe.

You can use almost any grinding tool......a drill with a grinding stone would work too.

grinding....i use a carbide bit on an air grinder, but almost anything would work.

LOL, when people ask and people aswer them with a riten tutorial, it sounds harder than it is. By looking at the pics makes me think, how can it be so easy compared to when people explain.

Well, i just use a screwdriver...it take 3 minutes or so to break it loose, did that on the previous Leo's and the one i got right now...well at the first one i did it like the pictures show..until i found the "right" and quicker way to do it.

they are an EU legal pipe if they have the restrictor :D means cops cant haste u :D

so you can av one in england without worryin about 3 points,remove the restrictor and it becomes a race pipe?

yup :D and u can have one with the ti silencer.... but if i had the money id still get a jolly moto...

Leo with Ti Silender.... 144ish delivered....

Jolly 50cc Race Pipe (alum can)... 190 delivered.... price difference is quite big though.... add about 35 for carbon can :S

also can get loads of other ones...

Which one gives out the best performance?
As soon as i've got my insurance sorted,from a recent crash(some nob drove into the side of me) and i know wots happening with the bike, i'm buying a 21 dell'orto off you craig,with reeds and all that,but wot is a boost bottle? an wot gains did you get from you velocity stack?

havent fitted the stack yet... want an airbox lid... also forgot the q's to your e-mail... well i wouldnt bother with the boost bottle... many topics on here about it... not much a gain involved/never tried... also the cdi i wouldnt bother its mainly for racing that one.....
